I let my imagine run riot when deciding on the finish of this Hemsley table.
The top being beautifully painted by a true artist in brightly coloured faux marble and the base distressed and rubbed back in a wonderful blackened finish.
The gilded band around the top only serves, in my humble opinion, to frame the exquisite detail.
