This armoire cabinet is believed to be created by André Charles Boulle and his workshop. It features 24 kt gilded bronze mounts and brass details and "shell" inlay in a première partie design. The cabinet is adorned with bronze figures of Aspasia and Socrates and medallions including one of Louis XIV.
