Description

This writing desk is a true masterpiece, featuring exquisite Boulle marquetry work. It's part of our King Louis Collection and has been skillfully crafted by European artisans who are among the most talented in the world today.

This is a Louis XV Boulle-style writing desk that features brass and shell inlays. It has ornamental cast bronze that is gilded with 24K gold. The top of the desk is made of leather and decorated with hot gold filets.

Its dimensions are 70 inches in width, 34.75 inches in depth, and 31.5 inches in height.

Boulle is a traditional marquetry technique named after a cabinetmaker for King Louis XIV of France.
